Food pantry software

Food pantry software that runs the line, not the paperwork.

Still rebuilding the day from clipboards after the doors close? Households check in from their own phone, every station sees the same live line, and the report is done before cleanup.

Sample data. The real dashboard updates the same way.

NewSelf check-in at the door

Scan the door. Get a number. The line runs itself.

Post one QR flier. Households register or check in from their own phone in English or Spanish, then watch their place in line. Your team sees every arrival the moment it happens.

The operational handoff

How a shift runs

Follow one household through the day. Each station hands off to the next on its own, and nobody has to become a software administrator.

Create your workspace

Works on every device

One live line, on whatever screen is free.

At a pantry, a food bank partner site or a mobile distribution, the desk tablet, the director's laptop, the scale touchscreen and the household's phone show the same visit at the same moment. Nothing to install.

Food pantry management

From the first household record to the day's report.

Every check-in, cart weight and volunteer shift lands in the report while the day runs. Previews use sample data.

Built for food pantries, food banks and distribution sites

Each role sees what it needs.

One workspace for the people who run the day, from the front desk to the board report.

Directors

The numbers without the spreadsheet weekend

Households served and pounds distributed for the calendar or fiscal year, ready for your board, your food bank and your funders. Export to CSV.

Floor leads

The line in your hand, not on a clipboard

Run intake, the queue and checkout from any laptop, tablet or phone, at a pantry, a food bank partner site or a mobile distribution.

Volunteer coordinators

Shifts and duties in the same place

Volunteers scan in for their shift, hours add up on their own, and duties go out from templates. No add-on to buy.

Household data, protected

The people in your line trust you with their information.

Pantry Nexus keeps that trust in the database, not only in a policy.

Questions, answered

The useful details before your next shift.

What Pantry Nexus does today, what it costs, and who can see your data.

01What is food pantry management software?

It runs a pantry's distribution day in one place: household intake, the line, checkout and the numbers your board and funders ask for. Pantry Nexus does this in the browser on any device, with self check-in by QR for households.

02Can households check in with their own phone?

Yes. Post the pantry's QR flier at the door. Households register or check in from their own phone, in English or Spanish, and get a live number in line. A household without a phone checks in at the desk.

03Can food banks and mobile distributions use Pantry Nexus?

Yes. A food bank partner pantry, a mobile distribution or a drive-through site runs the same way: post the QR, check households in on any phone or tablet, and weigh carts at checkout. Your food bank keeps its own network reporting.

See it on every device
04Does it replace our food bank's reporting system?

No. Keep your food bank's system for TEFAP and USDA reports. Pantry Nexus runs the floor: intake, the queue, checkout and your team. If your pantry needs a custom report or export, we can build it case by case for an added fee.

05How much does food pantry software cost?

Pantry Nexus is priced per pantry, based on your size and needs. Verified nonprofit organizations get a discount, and founding pantries lock in founding pricing. Email us for a price.
